A&C Forever latest
Hello there!
Quick update: I've been working 2 jobs for a while so free time &
creative energy has been scarce in regards to finishing this web-site. I have completed
more articles over the last few months though (the 'Dance with me, Henry'
and 'Lost in Alaska' ones combined about 10,000 words!). And to be
honest, the quality of writing is far superior than the articles previously
on this site. A hell of a lot more care has been put into them.
I definitely want this site finished and up by Christmas at the very latest.
The articles are the backbone of this whole enterprise and I hope you'll
agree that its best to focus my attention on those over the presentation of
the site (itself has been rebuilt entirely from the ground up) for while.
Great news about the new A&C box-set that's being released, I'll be getting it soon.
I did an A&C meet the invisible man trailer to the soundtrack of the second "Rocky Balboa" trailer that you can view here on the right. Both have themes of boxing and both lead characters have boxed before in earlier films. Its choppy but I think I just about get away with it for a laugh!
I finally managed to watch on DVD an episode of the awful Jerry Lewis TV show he did in late 1963. Someone has uploaded some clips of it from youTube. For more info (this is interesting stuff) check this out
I'm working all weekend, but tonight I will try and continue some work on my A&C meet the Killer article. A jumbled, unfocussed film; not necessarily the natural follow-up to Meet Frankenstein as generally believed: the studio were looking into making this for the boys 2 years before that film.
Talk to you all soon,
Russell Dodd, webmaster. 12th Sep 2008.
